Amy McMackin
Originally from Moncton, Amy moved to Quebec to complete a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR). Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Chemistry at UQAR, she is doing an applied research internship at the CDBQ.
Her research project, initiated by the CDBQ, aims to sustainably recover spent grains from microbreweries and microdistilleries for manufacturing biodegradable microbeads using an innovative green chemistry process.
